Yes, this is what our family does for fun sometimes.
We go scouting for new spots and take the girls with us to go on "adventures".
My talented hubby took these images and they are my new favorites.
I will most definitely have them up on our walls very soon.
I also really wanted to have Daniel document the special bond the girls and I have.
These ages are sometimes very hard :), but I love all the amazing moments we share together and really wanted something just for us girls.
They are growing up way too fast and I want to remember these moments forever.

This was a very special photo shoot.
It was all about love, sisterhood, family and fun. It was for three sisters and their mom to celebrate their late grandmother at their favorite gathering place for tea and family time at the Brown Palace Hotel in downtown Denver. Meaningful shoots like this tug at my heart as I hope my daughters will grow up to be as close as these three sisters and their mom are.
I adore this family and love that I have been able to document their lovely family for the past couple of years in Durango and now in Denver too.

I love my girls so much. They love having their photos taken too, but on their terms (the problem with having parents as photographers is that they are just too used to us taking their photos), so it is always a challenge to set a date for a "photo shoot". So, Daniel and I decided to just walk around our neighborhood and let them play in the leaves so they wouldn't think it was a set-up :).

Here is part two to a fun session (in Durango, Colorado) with a sweet girl with lots of energy and her wonderful parents. Every session is COMPLETELY different and I just roll with what energy the family and children have when I meet them...I never know what to expect until I get to their home. And I just love that! That is what makes each session so unique and fun for me.
I adore this family and had a blast photographing them...and I can't wait to show them their full gallery.
